What is Friends In Business?

Friends In Business is a casual monthly co-working event, for sole traders, freelancers, small business owners and office based people who want a chance to meet and chat with new or established friends in a relaxed and social environment

Friends In Business is mainly about socialising with a bit of chat about work, sharing ideas, helping others with business issues, passing on tips and referrals - maybe even collaborating on new projects.

Friends In Business was born when a group of us decided that we were not getting the value that we thought necessary from a network group. We wanted somewhere that we could stay in contact with Friends that we had made through networking but in a more relaxed atmosphere.

Sometimes it is good to get out of your usual environment and get other perspectives.

What does it cost to attend?

It costs just £5 to attend and you will be emailed a copy of all the registered/attending delegates, making it much easier to follow up on the people that you have spoken to during the evening.

When is it?

We meet on a Monday evening every two weeks.

There is great food & drink available for those who wish to order, (this is at your own cost).

Do I have to stay for the two hours?

It is recommended that you stay for the whole session. You will be given the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business. We will also run a mini presentation. These will be educational and presented by Friends In Business members.

Sessions run from 6pm to 8pm (you can stay till late making new friend in business if you wish)

Do I qualify?

Everyone is welcome to attend on a casual basis. However, to qualify as a member there will be an application process.
